Physics is often referred to as being the hardest of the sciences, due to the high reliance on mathematical proficiency. We have the unique opportunity to have a tutor with a doctorate in physics. While his research focused on condensed matter physics (specifically quantum magnetism for the nerds), he has a strong background in all areas of physics. With a passion for mechanics, Dr. Rawl is enthusiastic to be able to return to physics education. We offer physics tutoring for International Baccalaureate (both Higher Level and Standard Level), Advance Placement (1, 2, C: Electricity and Magnetism, C: Mechanics), Honors, and standard levels. Specialized units, especially difficult ones like special relativity and rotational motion, are also offered. We can also provide guidance on IB Internal Assessments and help refine research for academic presentations.
